Which proccessor hsf on vid card?

I want some really good cooling for the core of my new ATI Radeon 8500 128MB, so i want to put a proccessor hsf on it however since they are big i dont want to lose slots, so do you think that like a 10-20 thermaltake 1U rack mount hsf that really small put very powerfull will do the job?

The problem your going to run into is the size,

A typical IU cooler is 60mm sqr and is to big for the Radeon 8500 GPU unless you do a little modifying


Look below at this pic, Its an Alpha Pal 15u 60mm x60mm x 25mm (w/fan)

As you can see You need to make two small cuts to the heatsink in the top left corner
