I looking for some fast budget card. I´m thinking about Voodoo5, Kyro II and Geforce1 DDR, Which Board would you recommend and why?
All Cards are nearly the same Price here in Germany, about 300 Mark...

well, 3dfx is almost nonexistent, and there wont be any future supprot for the voodoo5, so that wouldnt be worth it. the kyroII should be a pretty good card, and if ya can get a little more cash try for a geforce 2 gts maybe? but i'd wait till the kyro2 actually hit the market in force and then do some price comparing between it and the geforce cards. you cant forget ati either

I should highly recommend you Ati RADEON 32 LE.
Sure, after you enable the HyperZ that is disabled by default you'll get impressive perfomance at a quite little price: around 75 bucks

I have a geforce 256 winfast by Leadtek... comes at 120 mhz, not all that impressive, but can be overclocked to 134+ (mine's at 134, but heard of them going higher), come with a great software bundle, cable for TV out, warranty, etc -- runs just as well in 32 bit mode as 16, and have run Quake 3, UT, and Star Trek Elite force with high detail, all run excellently and with very little jitter. Winamp visualisations run great with the 256 chip. It costs about $70.00, but has support many other do not. Drivers are updated at the Nvidia site biweekly (or so).
