While burning a cd.....

It takes up like 100% of my cpu (see sig) .....is this normal? would a dual help it a lot?not only burnin CDs also installing things like halflife ect ect....

also in windows 2000 task manager what is "kernel times" for cpu ( red bar on cpu utilization)..

well it does use alot of memory... why not max out the CPU too? Do you have some CPU cooling program in use? those prgrams use CPU too... i would sit down to my comp when i woke up just to see my comp would be running 100% CPU usage.


I figure you need to get Nero. The best burning software I have used
