You have my vote!. I'll have to try that sometime. I have an old 1 GB I can practice on. I even have the star shaped drivers to get the drive apart. I have some excelent cutting tools so I'm all set. Now all I need is major encouragement and a backup drive.

I always liked my own humble mod, the (origional) twister/reservior with the blue neon. It (was) built into the side door of my yy-cube, on the mobo side. It's in semi retirement while I run a bong for the winter...I can't dig for my geothermal cooling mod yet.

The HDD thing is sick.

I remember seeing a computer built into a dodge viper model car. Now that was cool.

I'm also making an attempt at a mirror finish paint job. I think tha's tricked out.

Dye lite always makes water cooling look it's best.

I've seen a lot of neat stuff. But the crazyest is definately that hard drive thing. I'd try it on a old 300mb disk i got here maybe. just to see what a HDD looks like when it's running.

I have done the HDD mod with 2 4gigers. But neither were in usable condition before I opend them up. I think one of them has about 20% of its sectors go bad, no that I have done the mod Im sure there are more
