anyone ? He is the founder of the seti team here. but who is he.

I know he was a forum member here back in 2000-2001, and he might have been a moderator at one time but I am not sure. He has written a few guides. Just google Dan Edgar and overclock.

and IIRC, he was also one of the very early starter (if not co-founder) for the overclockers.com and the ocforum too.

but as of right now, I believe TC is hold the "key" (team account access or some sort) for the team for years from Dan.

Daniel was the one with the idea for this forum--he started it, and was the sole admin/mod for a few years. Back then, the forum was on a server in Skip's basement...

Anyway, Daniel decided to crunch SETI and found out there were others of us, so he founded the team and I started working on the web pages... that was late 1999.

So as it went, Joe and Daniel and Skip had a falling out (over ethics and forum policies) and Daniel started AOAForums. That was summer 2001.

More than anyone wanted to know.. I am sure

No, I read your post very eagerly as Daniel was nothing but kind to me. It's sad to hear good people disagree; however, without differing opinions, we wouldn't have choices.
