Who's the 'coolest' ocforums member?

I hope this doesnt't get going in the wrong direction, but who do YOU think is the coolest OCforums member, and why?

if you don't like someone this isn't the place to state it, and don't slam other peoples 'ocforums idol'




Mine would have to be tom, just because he knows so much about everything and is a laid back guy.


in a close 2nd i'd have to say maxvla because he has a lot of cool stuff and is super smart.

You know something, this is not the first time we have done this. We had a similar thread about two years ago in the old GC forum. The first pass through, the forums staff got most of the votes. Then I PMed Shadow ÒÓ with a request for a new thread where only the regular members would be considered. It was actually quite fun. Too bad we can't look at that old thread anymore.

I also might add that this thread should belong in O/Community.

• Everyone can see it. This would allow members without enough posts to be here to get involved. There is also a rule of not discussing or mentioning members who can't access the discussion or mentioning of them. This rules applies to all of the forums that are restricted and require post counts or other means to get in. I beleive that this rule applies even in the Blue Room, for those of you who know what this is.

I'm a big fan of tom and Oni. Couldn't really say why. They just strike me as people I'd actually hang out with.

As for Malpine Walis, well sometimes words get stuck in my head and WON'T GO AWAY... and ahh the words Malpine Walis stick in my head and won't go away. So you're not the coolest, just the most catchy and annoying to my head.

There are lots of members to whom I am really grateful for their help. I couldnt name just one member, but:

- UnseenMenace - thanks for the help with SuSE
- SpeeDj - one of the most level headed mods we have, and an asset to the forums.
- mdcomp, Oni and Sony - Three of the seniors I get along best with

And many more that I cant recall right now.

Captain Slug, come on, he got his 1337 mods CPU magazine. Also, I think mods have a better "cool" factor than, lets say, building and OCing a system identical to 10% of the forum.

Nah..its cool. You are right, origionally I think you had to PM a moderator but now I think you might be able to post it anyways (you might still have to ask a staff member first though).

I will PM a moderator and get it taken care of. Nice idea to start this thread going again!

Great choices, but there are just so many great members here that it would be impossible to recognize everyone who I think is the coolest OC Forums member. I don't want to say anyone because I am afraid I will leave someone out.

Same here about Malphine Walis, it just sticks.

I know why we like Oni, but can not say.

The coolest member, when he was a member, will always be ShadowÒÓ. He has a sense of humor that is just wonderful.
