Cpu or ram. Try increasing the vcore to the cpu .5v
but do not exceed 2.0.
Also put the memory settings in the bios to all auto.

It can`t post at 1.85 volts.

Make sure the memory is set to spd and the dram latch delay is set to 1.5.

where do I set that?

It should run whatever the memory is programed to run at per your fsb in spd mode.
The dram latch setting can cause problems if set to fast.
If it still wont boot I would say your cpu just wont go.

Try 1.90 or 1.95v... :)

a word of warning.
i dont think people should be telling others to up the voltage to thier cpu unless they warn the person 1st. uping the voltage is what kills CPU's so....
Telling them to up the voltage and not ensure they have good cooling first is, in my opinion not very good advise as hardware damage cab easily occur

Theres a few more things that can help with stability try disabling sideband in registry and no mention of your CPU temps at all, this would help us to figure out part of your problem. If your temps are fine raising your CV will not harm your chip but i would stay under 2.00 for now until you learn more. my first suggestion would be to go through the tips section and read up on this as theres a little more to it then raising CV and FSB its kind of like tuning up a 4 barrel carb on a hot rod and without the rite info your not going to get the most out of your PC OH almost forgot yes fine tuning your ram to your system is a big part of getting the most out of your PC get SiSandra and you can benchmark your ram and sometimes this is a good way to find out if your memory is the weakest link in your system. You can find it at www.tweakfiles.com

one last thing we need more info to help you, what kind of CPU ect ect theres a good possability that your system is maxed out.
