I just built my new computer. It is a 1.33GHz T-Bird on a IWill KA266-R with 256MB of DDR...2 Western Digital 20GB 7200 using Raid 0 with a 32k striping, a sound blaster Live! value...and the big daddy himself...an ASUS V8200 Deluxe (GeForce3)... I am very happy with my system except one thing....it seem to lock up everyonce and a while...not a big deal...but somethign i'd like to take care of. I have no experience with RAID and i was thinking it may be the 32K striping...because when i had it automaticaly create the stripe it was set to 64K and i droped it to 32k...would this cause some problems with lockups and other gliches? I'd also like to get into some overclocking once i get this cleared up...I have a SuperMicro full tower and it runs around 31C my processor is some where like 35C (i think...i'll check again when i get off work) i want to order a new HSF...probaly copper...and i am putting 3 more 92x92mm intake fans in my case....if you can help me let me know

i doubt itr would be block size causing the loockups.i also chose the 32 size for mine not sure of the differences, but have no probs i didn't have before adding raid.there was a link to some raid benchmarks on the front page.it was good reading and showed that the performance peaked at the 64 size. wouldn't you know it?
i would look to the other iwill owners for lockup problems since the temps are ok.
also raid questions get few responses if any,so you may want to repost with iwill freeze problems or somthing like that.
bump.
