ok i was just wondering, about the question in the title, why do operating systems load slower when over clocking than when not? it seems when i run at 2ghz, (stock) win xp loads in 1-2 less loading bars

i have never experienced that. my only speculation would be that your not stable and thats why its taking longer.

hmm..maybe you have a bios conflict, have you got the latest bios for your mobo?

it was memory i was runnin it at 2-3-3-7 i jsut put the timings back on auto, and now it loads 2 bars faster, :D (4 bars exact) and im about to oc a bit more
