Why doesn't this thing report?

On my Asus A7V133, why do I not get a fan speed report from the fan on my nothbridge chip? It has a three wires, assuming one is a reporting lead, but I don't get any speed status out of the fan. Should I? Just a bad fan?

Is the Northbridge fan plugged into the F-FAN header??
This one will not report rotation.
Try plugging it into the chassis fan connection and see if it reports.
Post the results cause I haven't tried it myself.

I was thinking of that, or conversely plugging another fan with a reporting lead to the F_Fan to see if it would report. Kinda cheesy that it doesn't if that's the case. I will try this later tonight and let you know.

Thanks,

Shawn
