i'm using mbm to get the temps.

my ambient is 33C/91

my cpu idle is 37C/98

my room is always around 70-73.

if i take my side panel off my case, the temp stays the same.

i know the temp guages read high, but i see people with like 20 something ambients and 30 something cpus.

any ideas?

Were I to suspect anything I would suspect lack of proper airflow in the case. Ambient room temp is plenty cool and without the chip oc'ed I would expect lower temps given better case air flow. Might stick a fan or two more on the case.

BTW, temps are very satisfactory as they stand now. Should the room temp go up though, they may rise dramatically.

I might be buying a dremel and cutting the metal fan grill out of the intake.

I have two regular sunon 80mm one intake one exhaust, and on HO 80mm sunon blowing intake over my hard drive.

I don't really plan on overclocking yet, I'm about to buy a kr7a raid and some new hdd's though.

it's just always bothered my that my ambient seems so high.
