I didn't OK this with anyone so I have to call this an Unofficial thread but it is an annual event for me to post here on Black Friday and ask you what is the wildest thing you saw on Black Friday 2009. And if you want to tell us what kind of swag you scored tell us that too!

I didn't see nothing. I chose not to participate this year...heck didn't even go last year now that I think of it.

With the economy slow the last couple of years I decided I need to change my priorities and not spend as much on tech stuff as I used to do. Before I used to have to have the latest and greatest, now I just make do, and it gets me by just fine. :)

I got an i5 and a dfi board for 325$, and 2 more 750GB drives to make a raid 5 for 60$/ea. Plus the drive+printer was good but not really brack fliday. :D

Going out here in the next hour. Will report back. I dont get up early, but I do go out. Plan on buying a .22 rifle for my son as his first gun (hes 9).

I cant see NOT spending money. An economy dies if people dont spend money (well, recession which is whats happening now). I say spend spend spend, keep the money flowing.

Well there was a drive by a block away and you could hear police car sirens and gun shots going off. About 5 minutes later you could see a helicopter with a spot light searching for the fugitives.

I salute your patriotism. I'll say its every Americans patriotic duty to spend money if they have it to spend. Amen

I bought a TV last week so I'm not spending any money today unless it is on xmas presents and I haven't seen anything good.

At Target once they were out of the $250 Westinhouses a couple people started complaining. The store started substituting all their 32" TVs with 40% off, the $380 Sony in their ad was going for $228. Unfortunately, by the time my mother got a break there was only one TV left, a Magnavox for $218. I've been reading bad things about Magnavox's reliability so it might be going back since she also has a 32" Samsung on order for $305.

I went to my Fry's where my brother works, said that there was about 1/3 the people lining up as last year... Got a $1 bluetooth, some dvd-r media, two-$8 webcams, and some stuff the night before at a big outlet mall in aurora. First black Friday, not great but I wasn't caught in any big lines to make it horrible...

Well went out. Wasnt as busy as last year at all. It was busy, but not like it has been in the past. Worst thing I saw was the pure laziness of people who would wait minutes on end just to get a close to the store parking spot. I saw an elderly couple, maybe 65-70 walking from the way back and was like damn, if they can do it everyone can. Lazy *** america these days.

I picked up a Marlin .22 LR for my son for x-mas, $99 :D Got some fruity stuff at BB&B for the wife (not xmas, just went). Also got some stuff to build a top for my large lizard cage and some stuff to mount it on thw all. Other than that, nothing :D

I know right? I get mad at my girlfriend when she spends more time in the parking lot driving around than she would have spent walking in.
