Hey guys, I was wondering if a "Cooler Master DP5-7JDIB-0L Cooler" Link- http://www.googlegear.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=370613 that says it supports up to an Athlon XP (Thoroughbred) up to 2600+ will work ok for cooling an athlon XP 2600+? The pc that the 2600+ is going to be in cant be some loud monster and needs to be able to work properly without overheating or anything and be on 24/7 under pressures of a gamer. (this is for a pc im building for a freind who would use his pc alot for gaming and keeps it on 24/7). I just dont want to go building it for him and having heat problems... but this cooler is cheap, and has a nice low DBA... also that and the fact that its from the same vendor that im probably ording his parts from... THANKS!

well that cooler wont be any good if he is overclocking but it should be fine if hes not. but i'd maybe get a better 80mm fan to put on it something around 3,000 rpm and 32-35bda, yes it will be a little louder but it will work MUCH better. IT IS OUT OF STOCK

hehe yea i kno its out of stock right now but this place get stuff back fast and he will probably end up ordering latter this week or next... but yea Im liking that Volcano 9's Auto Sensor on it... I think im going to get that one for him... Sounds pretty good since the time when it'll be the loudest is when he's blasting away at his games and wont notice it. Also the manual adjust is nice too incase it gets to loud I can just turn it down and fine tune it. Oh yea and he aint no OCer... just a gamer :p Thanks man... that helped me out! :)
