Yes it will boot, but the man is right, get at least 300w AMD approved psu. And perhaps one 256mb stick or ram would do, unless you are running win2k under heavy multitasking. If you are a gamer you might consider using 256mb 'only' and get a tbird or better vid card instead of the second ram stick.
Good luck

Think wisely about a case cause the air flow in there will make a huge difference and I would also suggest a larger PSU, I use a 330W Enermax, works great. I agree with the one stick of 256 ram, you shouldn't need more unless your a hard core gamer searching for that extra 3 fps. LOL. Other than that you should chug along quite nicely.

Sketch

I agree with everyone above who said to stick with 256 MBs of RAM. If you want to invest more money in RAM, go ahead and buy some PC150 or PC170 memory, it'll probably pay off in the future. Otherwise, you're not going to see a major increase in game performance with another 256 MBs. Since you are building a new machine, you may as well get a 300w or a 350w P/s. It won't cost much more than a 250, but later if you want to change it out, it'll cost you about $40 to get a whole new P/S.

forget the second DIMM unless your running win 2k or are planing on using it for a server on a 300+ pc network get a creative gf2mx i got mine up to 225 core and 366 mem (going for 380) with a gint k6-2 400 heatsink and fan and some little radio shack heatsinks on the ram.
