polyester if i am correct is a decent thermo and electrical insulator what im saying is it wont conduct elec. but it will trap heat what are you going to use it for polar bears lan party????????

no my little brother took my mobo and put on my bed. and the blankets are polyester. i just want to know if he did any damage

This is going to depend on several things. If he rubbed it causing a static build up then yes it may have damaged the board. Ultimately though the only way to know for sure is test it.

Static is a strange thing. What you might get away with a 100 times in poor handling practices can come back to bite you when you least expect it.
