Win 98 vs Win XP HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GUYS I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP ON THIS ONE.
WHAT SHOULD I DO?!?!?!??!?!?!?!??!?
XP or Win 98.
i know that the XP have a lot of media and internet features, but what about the problems with the games.
What con you tell me about that???????????????
it have a lot of problems or only with a couple of games???????
please help me on this one.

I run 98se and have learned to get along with it fairly well. XP is probably what you want if you are buying a new system. I don't think I would as I am really not appreciative of the attached apron strings nor in being tied to Bill Gates. Admittadely I have to ask my wife rather frequently if I may reload windows but it is'nt as bad as she just plum looks better.

Xp is much more stable than previous OSs especially winme, it rarely crashes. The game part is a problem but many games do work on xp. I would definitley recommend XP.

XP is more stable and better, but if you learn how to tweek win98 you can make it as good as XP(stability wise).
I haven't got an illegal error in explorer for about 1-2 months until today when I pushed its limits a little hard(having 2x3D editors, aol im, opera, and UT open all at the same time killed it.
And why spend all that extra money? With the latest sound drivers, vid card drivers, and a little tweaking win98se rules!
