Win XP Login Question

Is there anyway I can set up Xp so that it loads straight into windows without asking for a login ID/Password?

do you have more than one account on the pc? if so thats why. i just my other account and just had one that was my main user and it does

yea, there is an admin account, and then mine. Anyway to get the admin off?

well if you switch your account to admin, then you can delete the admin accound, and then you become the adim, allowing straight boot to the desktop.

Start | Run | Type...control userpasswords2 and click OK | On the "Users" tab, clear the "Users Must Enter A User Name And Password To Use This Computer" check box and then click OK | In the "Automatically Log On" dialog box that appears, type the user name and password for the account you want to be logged on each time you start your computer.

Thanks for the reply. I searched for awhile before you posted and found another way to do it. Same results. Control Panel, Admin Tools, Local Security Settings, Min Password....set it to 0, go to user accounts and erase your password. Seems to work.
