Trying to decide on what OS to put on my server Win2k advanced server or Linux Mandrake 9.0 or Redhat 8.0, what are some pros and cons between these OS

I've only played with them slightly for internal lan servers...

I have all 3.

Hated Redhat - completely.

Loved Mandrake, especially the installer. Comes with everything you need. You kinda have to get used to the Linux file system, etc... though if you're a newbie.

Win3k Adv server was nice & stable, but I hated configuring all the servers.

Linux has proven itself to be very good for networks and servers. However you really have to know linux well to ensure that it is secure. Unless you know linux and can really work it well i would use win2kas. If you know your stuff then definatly use linux, is better. IMHO
