just started messing with it today, can someone help me make my EI menus/ dropdowns/ toolbars look better than this? Cheers!!

It really depends on which theme you're using as to what the toolbar buttons, dropdown menus, etc. look like. It appears as if you're running a Vista style theme... try downloading a few different themes, like Ares by Mike Bryant for example (assuming you like the darker themes like Vista)...

... assuming you're running v 5.x of WB, and your OS is XP.

You can modify a number of different aspects of a theme by first opening the WindowBlinds Configuration, and changing things like "Dialog backgrounds" under Basic Settings, Change Skin Colour under Settings--> Skins, enabling Hyperpaint under Basic Settings--> Performance, etc. You may also want to visit the Stardock Support--> WB forum at WinCustomize here...
