Quick question.

My 3D Mark Scores Suck!

I have heard that running Windows 2000 can result in lower marks on this benchmarking program but have nto experienced this first hand since I have been running Windows 2000 for 2 years and just found out about 3D Mark 2000 a month ago.

Is this true? What is an Average score for say a 950 T-Bird @1150+ and voodoo 5? (More info below)

Any advice and comments appreciated.

You get a lower 3DMark scores in win2k. At least it was true in my case. I have 1.2GHz [email protected] and GeForce 2 GTS card and my 3DMark score running Win 2k was 6582. When I ran the test again after installing win 98SE, the score went up to 8234. That's almost 1700 difference in scores. I don't really know if the operating system matters but that was a huge difference. I just reinstalled Win2K because it provides more overall stability.
