hi all.. i have some questions about installing w7 ultimate 64.
i know that the system requirements call for a minimum of 20gb hard drive space. now, the way currently have my system (winxp pro)set up is:

C: <20gb, sys & antivirus>
D: <250, doc&settings, apps, everything else>
E: <500gb, work files>

that said, i know that the true usable space is about 19.4GB. if i attempt to install windows7, will it still let me since it's not really 20GBs availiable?

also, if i DO end up installing it on the 20gb, would there be any performance issues? i understand that the system will not use up 20gb, but i just want to make sure before going ahead and doing this.

thank you!

If i remember correctly (and this is without researching first to make sure my memory is right), Windows 7 takes about 15gbs of space when installed. The 20 requirement is for things like swap file, hibernation file, temp files, etc....
