Some games can be up to 9% faster on the hidden Windows admin account, some stay roughly the same

Did see other places speculate if Windows security or other performance related settings might be getting in the way but not aware of a conclusion or resolution yet.

Honestly, there are several layers of code operating here, so its anyone' guess where the problem is. But its the craziest piece of shite that the admin account facilitates better performance. :cautious:\
You don't wanna be doing that with a machine connected to the net.

It seems like a local admin/domain vs MS account issue (even though they say it's a matter of local hidden admin vs local or MS account). I never use an MS account. Anyway, if you install Win Pro by picking a domain account option, but you don't provide domain credentials, then you can replace the local administrator (which later is automatically hidden) with your name, and then the hidden one does not appear on the user's list in the PC management (even hidden/disabled).
