i was working on my sisters computer that has windows 98 oem on it (not se) but when i reinstalled windows and went to load the drivers it always askes for the windows 98 cd even if the drivers are not on that cd when i put in the cd and click ok it says put the win 98 cd in(keeps repeating the samething) when i hit cancel or skip and the drivers will not load. when i look in my computer. the computer sees the cd

Whats the problem?

I've run into that before. Sometimes you have to lead it by the hand. There will be a box on there that says browse, use it and find the the drive with the CD, and the folder on the CD until it matches the file it wants. You can avoid this hassle by loading the Windows CD onto your drive, and then installing from your harddrive. Use the following DOS comands: c:md win98, c:cd win98, c:copy e:\win98\*.*c:\win98\*.*/e, then c:\win98setup. But that's for next time, unless you want to start all over.
