Just curious on what this means. I have only had the card for afew days. SO I am new to ATI. I am an old Nvidia player until I got burned on the FX series.

It's because they both run on pretty much the same core. The real difference between 9500/9700 is the clockspeeds and memory pipelines (If my own memory is serving me correctly...), which is why people can convert a 9500 to a 9700 with a simple modification, and is also why Windows reports it as "RADEON 9500 Pro/9700".
