super fast, you can feel it even internet.
very stable
the bad thing is no service pack 1 so I cannot get usb 2 to work.

XP Server

I just got the evaluation copy from microsoft. It is based on 2000 server infrastructure but is a setup and style like windows XP. It is not made for gaming. It is made for being Extremely stable and it uses a lot of RAM to do so. Also this things ask you why you want to turn it off when you do so. Guess that is a new SERVER feature of people who are idiots with servers?? LOL.:D

u can turn that off
it keeps a log so that u can see exactly why the server was taken off line

It's so you don't end up going "Hmm, I wonder why the server was down?". Now you can go "Hey, the server was shut down, I wonder why . . . Oh, it says "Hardware Upgrade". That explains it!"

Thats a good feature when its being used as a server. If its not a server that can get rather annoying. Does M$ plan on releasing windows 2003 for home users or just server? I haven't heard about anything other than the server version.

it's justa server OS, in 2005 or something Windows UX will be released "longhorn" supposedly witha new file system too.

And a large load of Palladium Technology to go with it so M$ can control your computer's content. Hey if you're just another Joe Sixpack, you won't care much anyway because of all the cool looking eye candy and media software.
