OK well im trying to reinstall server 2003 on my server (its really the same install procedure as xp) I have a 1tb hd with two partitions, a 60GB for the os at the beginning of the disk, and the rest as storage. And for some reason when installing server 2003 it thought the storage was the C drive, thus labeling the 60GB drive D.... now this just peevs me. So i went to reinstall and it wont allow me to change the drive letter of the storage partition during the install process!

Now i know i could just delete everything and start over but i have no place to put the 800gb's of data on the storage partition. Is there anyway i can relabel the storage partition, like in bart PE or something?

can you not right click the "my computer" icon and click manage from there and go to disk management and change from there? seems that it would let you

this is during the install process... no gui other than basic windows xp install. It doesnt matter now anyways... i scrwed the whole drive up, loosing 450gbs of data... gah.
