hey guys
this is just too odd.
I had a similar problem before, but it seemed to fix itself. However, when I run a game, any game (OpenGL or D3d), apart from Quake3, the game will run too fast. waaay too fast. like it's on drugs. In split seconds it slows down to normal, but then it goes "hyper" again.
I am using Win2k SP2 with Dx8.0 (8.1 gives me the same error), with the 23.11 nvidia drivers (the latest, official ones). I have tried turning vsync off and on, and tried lots of different things, yet to no avail at all.
This is extremely annoying - and strange, as when I play Counter-Strike on a LAN, I will be faster than players etc sucks!
I would appreciate any help at all on this confusing problem
thanks!
my system:
A7V133 ASUS mobo
1.4 T-Bird
640 SDRAM
Geforce3 ti500 (asus)
