I'm trying to install ICQ (i dont like most linux icq clients) and I get an error saying i need to download a file from MS (50comupd.exe) so i do and install that, when trying to run the icq installer i still get the same error message. so what do i do to correct this?

or is it possible to take my registry keys from XP and use them? and how?

one of the reasons i'd like to use icq is so i don't lose the contacts i have... that and fiance doesn't really like using linux in the first place, and doesn't like licq either... that and her contact list is bigger than mine... I'm trying to get linux setup for her so she doesn't have to go through the "learning curve" to use linux, as she just chats, surfs, and emails on the computer anyways... so i can move completely to linux only, and use wine for windows apps.
