Wireless Router with Detachable Antenna

A friend is looking for a router from which he may remove the antenna and relocate it for better reception depending upon the "circumstance." I am not really sure what he needs this function for or why he thinks it is the best solution so please don't ask. What solutions might you all recommend?

Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router has two removable antennas. He could just buy those signal booster antennas which would work better.

Pretty much any wireless b/g router out there will let you change out the antennas (you can opt for using a repeater as well). The newer "mimo" routers won't let you change the antennae (that i know of).

All of my personal and clients routers have removable antennae, but they seem to be proprietary. Are there any out there (like the suggested linksys) that use just a basic coax or something?
