Well, I'm done trying to figure out where to post this question. This section seams relavent to my problem :)

I have an xbox 360 with two wireless controllers. I wanted to use one with my PC so I hooked up the charge and play pack and plugged it into my computer. It recognized it but said it couldn't find the drivers, so I downloaded them, installed them, and it STILL doesn't work. A little while later I re-formatted and re-insatlled Xp pro (I was using x64) and tried it once again, but this time I installed the drivers first and it STILL didn't work. At this point I was ****ed and went looking around only to find that apparently the wired controller is the only one that works with windows, but that brings up a question; if the wired controller is the only type that work then why is it that windows finds and recognizes the wireless when using a charge and play pack?

I'm convinced that there is a way to get this controller working with windows, but I have no idea how. I was hoping that someone here may have experience with this and knows how to get this thing working. I'd love to play PSU with a 360 controller as I'm sort of used to it after plaing the beta.

Thanks!

it doesnt work because the charge and play kit uses different configuration in the USB port, or something like that, thats what a guy at BB told me so yeah. All I know is I tried to get it to work for awhile and just bought a wired controller.
