Woes with SB live! value

I had installed a SB Live! Value card in my system and just recently reinstalled RH 7.2. Every went fine, and it was playing MP3's just great. Now that I shut down and restarted, there is an error saying it can't load the sound modules! No sound now!

I don't get it...

check out the /etc/modules.conf file : see if there's 'alias sound emu10k1'...... if not insmod sound emu10k1 by hand that should work.
