Congrats :)

I've yet to figure out what sort of power connector that is... hope there's some sort of adapter when I get my X800XL

Is it some ATX2 thing? If so I might get a new PSU as the motherboard uses a 24 pin connection too

Congats!

I should be getting my x850xt non pe, MSI neo4, 3200+ wed. and my OCZ 420W friday. I hope to OC it to PE speeds. BTW, thats a BBA card right? Mine is Sapphire. Hope you have good luck OCing that beast :D

shiyan,
the power connector is a pci-e connector, the cards ship with molex-to-pci-e plug, the plug has 2 grounds and a 12v line in it although there it is a 6pin plug

Unreal89,
mines supposedly a connect3d card, but im pretty sure all of the current cards are made by ati, including the sapphire

Sentential,(i think im the only one that gets your name right :) )
im broke now too... just picked up a 5mp digicam with a macro lens and telescopic lens yesterday too... nothing more till summer, and if anyone sees me posting questions about something i want to get, please be a bud and convince me not to....

geeman74,
can you elaborate? why are you not happy with your purchase? thats alot of money to spend and not be happy with it

i have to wait til the DFI 925XE-T2 board comes out before i go PCI-E

i was gonna go with the fatal1ty... but screw it, DFI 925XE-T2 + x850XTPE = pure sex... i can't wait til i get more money... until then, i envy your card

Is that the OEM Connect3d from Monarch? That would be really sweet if it was a BBA ... mine will hopefully be here by the end of the week =D

Heh... sure thing. Only reason why im not getting a PCI-E card is because im hording my money for E0s which should be out in a matter of weeks. ;)

couldnt keep my finger on the bar on the top so thought it was a bit hot thinkin of puttin sum ram sinks on it
or adding my water block but thats not gonna cool the ram

what are your idle and load temps? just wondering cause i think im just going to put my gpu block on it from the get go.... too lazy to test with stock hsf then rip my rig apart again to put the block on

I got my x850xt non pe today.. but i can't use it till my mobo and psu come. It looks so sexy. I hope I can get it to pe speeds, but if not, it'll still be plenty fast.
