I have a old heatsink off my packerdbell 75 mhz and I was wondering if I can use it for a heatsink on my geforce 2 ultra?

its about 2"x2 1/2"x3/4"

to cool it I was just going to superglue a old 80mm case fan on it to have air going though it

for mounting the heatsink on the gpu Ive heard that you can use AS2 and put a little bit of superglue on the corners
or I could figure out a way to clamp it on
so do you think this would alow me to oc my video card without it burning up?

I've done it with a couple socket 5 and 7 sinks. Works VERY well. Dab of ASII in the middle and spread out a bit........dab of super glue gel on each corner and you've got some pretty superior cooling.

gosh, shadow you beat me to it! But yes, its been done and it works well, better than those dinky things they give you right now. And take Shadows mounting suggestion, the best way to attach it as you have some hope of getting it off.
