I just saw a cool version of Chess at the Mall today

it was 4 player chess

Well I got to thinking

IF there was a MMO chess game, would you play it.

I see something like this

Turn based say 1 turn every 2 hours, max 24 stored turns

Game board is

12 X #players/2
by
12 X #players/2

pieces move is a standard chess patterns with the exception of Pawns, which can move in all directions with standard non special moves

it would of course be free to play,

is this worth my time making? the graphics would be minimal since my skills are lacking, it would not require flash plug ins or Java runtime environments just a standard web browser and possibly Session or cookie support.

In theory it sounds ok, but lets see what you got that would be the best way.
Worth making..well i think there is that contest over at overclockers.com for a program - you could win up to 100 bux

Also, it may work, you'll never know if you dont try.
