WTH is with firefox?

It's got more popups than ie now, it's taking up 80%+ of my cpu power while browsing...?

i havent noticed an increase.... maybe your computer is infected with spyware and ads... use adaware and spybot and see if its the case

If spyware was the culprit, clean out your machine, then when you're done, visit http://addons.mozilla.org and install the adblock and noscript extensions. adblock... blocks ads (ha), and no script blocks javascript on pages unless you say it's ok to run.

Get the new firefox 1.5, it has a much improved popup blocking engine.
