I am wondering why I cant seem to get my machine to OC over 330FSB...

There is a reported issue with the current BIOS for the DS3 which is for Micron Memory. I am not sure this memory fault applies to the DQ6, nor am I sure of what the specifics are.

I am able to run my memory at 1066 with no problems. I can overclock to 3.5 mhz, and have low to mid 40c temps. I cant seem to push it much harder.

The problem may be the voltage. I have tried a large range of voltages for this chip, and it does seem to help a bit. Eventually Prime95 just fails without heat issues on the chip.

What should the voltages be set to for a Core2Duo X6800 which is running above 3.5 ghz. I am running around 330 mhz FSB, so I assume I dont have to pump up my FSB voltage much. But what about the MCH?

Any adivice? Has anyone been able to overclock this chip with a 12 multiplier?
