x800 xt AIW tv recording....

sometimes but almost al the time when I record.. after a while it freezes and I have to reboot...

anyone else have this problem? bad coaxial cable?

Gonna resurrect this thread.

I'm having the same problem. As is all of the people with X800 series AIWs.

Something about the new 9.x series MMCs being crap and unstable WDM drivers in the 5.6 and up drivers.

If someone has a solution you'd be our hero.

maybe try contacting ATi? If this is a known problem, maybe they've come up with a solution.

There's a huge thread with 2000 posts at Driverheaven where the latest post was from yesterday dating back to May and there hasn't been a solution infact the newer MMCs and new drivers with WDM only make it worse.

i dont even know about this problem. I cant even update my display adpter driver without the WDM drivers becomming corrupt for some reason.
i can't watch tv without doing a fresh install of the drivers from the tv, and then i only get maybe 4 or 5 channels that come in really fuzzy so i dont even use this feature.
