Very nice deal. These are the ones that flash to x800 xt PE's and overclock very well.

Are you blind? It says there right in the article that you can flash the x800pro VIVO BIOS with an x800pro XT PE. Check out this thread:

There you go. The bottom line is, get an x800pro VIVO, manufacturer does not matter, and flash it with the appropriate BIOS, ie. AGP or PCI-E.

Card makers do things to stop the modding. From January to December is a LONG time to consider if a mod still works. Most the enthusiests here keep up if hardware gets modded by the manufactures. Blowing any chance of a high success rate of changing the card into a higher model. Even the chance of zero.

Only the Connect 3d GTO's seem to flash. However the Sapphire GTO2's flash to 16 pipes and a lot of them have almost reached x850xt PE speeds.

All of those effing cards were flashed successfully. So I don't get how you can say the article was wrong, how you can't flash these cards, you're wrong.

The success rate is high, it's just that the card may die after a period of time due to the stress of the added pipes. And you need to say GTO2's, cause the only GTO I know that successfully flashes is the Connect3d model.

Here is the results of the members here/. The AGP has a better chance per stats to grab the extra pipes. I bet most of the PCI-e owners would try if there was a even a slight chance. I think even some of the member have tried. Most just live with the fact it has a low flash rate.

Oh to keep the thread for getting all bent and going in a bad direction.. GTO2 hehe

I would like to see facts not personal jabs come into this thread, please keep it light and on the tech side. I will not respond if it goes in a direction that goes into flaming.
