currently i'm running this rig ( in signature ) and i've got it set at

bclk 125 strap
multiplier 36
vcore 1.275 ( 1.277 via validation )
System agent voltage at 1.01v
memory set to XMP

I'm looking to get my cpu running on adaptive mode and i'm really struggling on how to do this as im new to overclocking and new to x99 platform they only thing i can think of which is by research is that my memory speed kit i have chose wont let me go to adaptive and if this is the case is my cpu able to stick with 1.275v all the time?

all help is appreciated also sorry if this is posted in wrong forum section

kind regards RxL

1.275V is nothing for 24/7.

What do you mean by 'wont let me go adapative'? Is the option suddenly not available when you enable XMP? I don't have the RVE, but my board, I believe, allows adaptive and I have DDR4 3K memory (but I don't use adaptive, just over ride).

Leave the performance setting in Windows to balanced?

even with that set to balanced my voltage stays at 1.275 im not sure if that is ment to but when i had it set to adaptive my volts would drop also but i cannot for the life of me get it to post past press del or f2 for bios while set to adatpive im guessing its down to the strap and memory?

Don't leave the core offset at auto. Set it to 0.001, and your addl turbo at 1.274v.

I recommend disabling Internal PLL Overvoltage. No good reason to keep it on, and if on auto it can cause issues resuming from monitor sleep.

You could try 100 strap, it's what I use.

Disable c states under cpu configuration, you don't need them with adaptive.

Set CPU current capability to 140% if you haven't already, cpu and dram power phase controls to optimized. CPU Integrated Fault Management to disabled.

You can try disabling CPU Spread Spectrum, most people recommend that, tho I oddly am only stable with it on auto.

What LLC are you at? I use LLC7 with 1.92v input voltage.
