Burning in the JIHUBs is the only way to go. Without stressing my chip for several hours (almost days cumlative) it wouldnt reach past 2.0 without 1.65 volts.
After the first round of burn in, i got 2.135 @ 1.6 volts. 2nd round 2.155 @1.5 volts. 3rd with extra voltage 2.33 @ 1.75 Hopefully after a few rounds of burning, I should get the voltage bact down to 1.65 or maybe get past 2.4.
Currently 2.33 is somewhat unstable. Windoz only acts normally ONLY after a round of burn in. If I change any settings it becomes unstable again, and requires another burn in.
However IF I leave it alone after a burn in, its rock solid on P95. I know its been a topic of taboo and suspicion, Burning in chips / stressing for several hours, does in fact work. Ive seen it with my own eyes.
..also DONT BUY A NADO(i "owned" one). The sound is like nails down a chalkboard after a while
Im using a TMD fan with my SLK700...its workin great right now. TMDs are good cuz they have the smallest deadspot (besides a blower) than any fan on the market. Deadspot is the downfall of using a nado. the Nado only pulls heat from the edges of the heatsink.
This fan or a Smartfan 2 are tthe best ways to go (get a smart fan2). Smartfan2 from Thermaltake is the best of both worlds. Standard 80mm fan that ranges between (30CFM/25dbl -- 76CFM / 48dbls) If you want quiet / power in one handy package get this and a fan controller. With this you should be go to go
now......the only good thing bout nadoes is that it prevents heat from building up in the case/heatsink. IT WILL NOT COOL WORTH A ****. It only blow heat away before it builds up in your case. Dont expect less than 35c* idle. However Load will be about 1c* higher @ the most
But the Smartfan2 is also capable of this and is quiet too.
