no pre-order, no waiting, no nada... walked into the store and bought it. I thought about buying two, just because I CAN, but that wasn't a good enough reason.

It's a week 41. Here's all the details:

AXDA2400DKV3C
AIUCB0241RPEW

I still need to flash my bios to support the 2400+, and I'm going to unlock this thing while it's out of the system as well.

Might I be the first person in the forums to use a 2400+ with a Prometia? I'll post more details tonight once I get this thing running...

the worst thing in the world just happened. I snapped the head off one of the allen screws that holds the evaporator down on the prometia. there are only two screws so there is no way I can run it with one. the core didn't get damaged because I'm using a shim. I don't think I had tightened down the screws too much because the springs weren't bottomed out. Hopefully, if I'm lucky, I can find a replacement around my house somewhere and run this thing tonight. I could run it on my old vapochill, but I think that every time you install a cpu in the vapo you have a 50% chance of cracking the core. WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

ok, this is the first boot into windows.

12.5 X 170 = 2125mhz at default voltage. my mbm temp is 1c and the evap temp reads -40 (running seti in the background of course)

I connected the last l3 bridge before I put everything together so I have all multipliers below 13. If I set the bios to =>13 the system doesn't boot. Oh well if I can do 12.5 X 200 that would be nice
