Shouldn't this drop the price of the 2500+ Barton further, once more stores start carrying it?

It also seems like there are 333mhz and 400mhz variants. Is that true?

amds price drops alot faster than intels does, notice how quick the 3000+ dropped? and when did intel release the 800mhz fsb chips, they had been delayed last i read because of incompatabilitys with the mobos

some ppl on the Intel boards are starting to get their 800fsb chips, and the issue with the 3.0C 800fsb chip was ironed out, so they are good to go.

I haven't even seen an article from a reputable source on the 3200+, and normally they get samples to review before the chips hit retail channels. Are you sure its not just preorder?

Amd drops real quik and i noticed intel stayes high. i betcha a 3.0 800 p4 will still be at full price when amd has droped 65%

The 3.0C should be below $450 when the 3.2C shows up later this month.

My FSB runs at 410 and I have 512 L2 cache and it runs at 2.16ghz. So do I already have a 3200+? I think so. Drive through.:p

the c is what makes it a 200/800fsb chip if im not mistaken

Basically. There are 3 letters to the Northwood series of P4s.

Northwood A-400FSB
Northwood B-533FSB (HT on 3.06)
Northwood C-800FSB & HT

I want to see how these mature Barton cores will OC...I bet that pretty soon they will be screaming :)

I hope so :D If anything, the new 400fsb Bartons should be quite stable at high fsb.

i cant wait for the 200fsb bartons to come out so i can get me a new mobo, we are going to have all kinds of options for 200mhz+ fsb mobos real soon, then i can get a 2500+ barton and save a ton

The only difference between the 3000+ and 3200+ is the fsb? I would have thought they would have at least upped the speed to 2.2ghz.
