xtpe or ps problem

Just put in a BlueStorm to replace old Alliad 450.
Old ps had tweaked pots but only 17 amps on 12v.
PS worked good with a [email protected]
I put in a cabye [email protected] an started gettig bsod for no reason.
PS shut down a few times starting ut3 also shutdown in xpp
I put the 800pe on a clean line.
I removed 1 fan controller and put 5 fans on 2nd line.
Last line has drives + controller with 3 38x120 fans,pump relay
Votages are all on the +side with flute simson meters.
Problem may be agp extra line or a defective ps
Idea cut pci 16 line for agp line.
First time i asked for help .
Any one have same problem or aswer

i have a blue storm and an xt-pe, and it restarts extremely randomly, like in the opening of a browser window sometimes......and its definately not stability related because it will play games for hours, but just randomly peaces out sometimes

PS sets above chevette raditor.hose clamps touch ps
There is 1+inch of open core on top.
Below open core is a 120 138cfm fan+shoud
2nd 120 fan on ouside.
Can this suck too much air from going into P.S.
Can this Poor air in to ps cause it to shut off

i have had the same problem but withe the x850xt pe
because of the card i bought another psu ocz520w still the same problem where it would beep and shut down, i never really figured out the problem instead i got a refound and will upgrade when m2 socket comes out

Ive had my XTPE shut down a couple of times but only during games , never just basic apps running . My XL did what you discribed and it seeemed to be heat related even at stock speeds . Same PSU for both ; Antec TC550 .

Had card volage set to 1.85[next to mem voltage in bios]reset to 1.55 .Up for 2 days.
