Years ago someone recommended me a PSU and it performed greatly.

About 4 to 7 years ago I was looking for advice into buying a new PSU for my rig. I shared the available PSU in my country and budget and he or she recommended me to buy this one:

It is still working fine, and even after upgrading GPU from 1660 super to GRE 10GB no issues. However I don't know if it is GPU coil whine or PSU but when I scroll on websites I will hear a buzz from case, can't pick if it is GPU or PSU but I read somewhere that old PSU may increase the coil whine so I would look into buying a new one to see if it helps, also so I can save my current one as a "back up" and upgrade to a fresh one.
I can buy only from the list below, up to 70.000 in price.

I'm not familiar with many of the units listed, however, based on limited knowledge I'm not sure if your budget is enough to get an equivalent unit right now. PSUs have gotten more expensive for sure. Hopefully someone with more familiarity can chime in, but I wanted to at least share what little guidance I can.

I do see several units from FSP or Super Flower, as well as a Corsair CX750 in the price range but they are less efficient than the one you have (not necessarily a bad thing, but often it can mean lower quality below Gold). Both FSP and Super Flower are good brands that manufacturer quality units for companies in the US market (which I am more familiar with), however searching the specific models doesn't bring up much. Like any brand, they provide a range of price to performance/quality (you get you you pay for). The Corsair CX is okay for a budget choice, it's not something I'd ever recommend as a first choice, but I also wouldn't worry a ton about someone using it.

At higher prices I saw a GD unit from EVGA, but you might not have full support as the company has struggled and downsized substantially. Also some RM series from Corsair and some probably higher quality models from FSP and Super Flower (although I am not familiar with the designations).

Coil whine can be super annoying especially just scrolling, but I certainly wouldn't replace a working PSU with any of the units I saw under 70 over it. As you mentioned, it could be the GPU causing it anyway.

Thank you very much for your help. I would hold my current psu for a bit longer. I managed to avoid the coil whine by disabling hardware acceleration in my browser, so it was the gpu. However, I would like to have a new backup psu in case current one dies, it has more than 5 years for sure, and I read psu don't last that much overall. I can increase the budget to 130.000. I came back here again because people had always advices me well. Than you in advance, have a nice weekend.

Depends on the psu. Many these days have 10 year warranties. Not saying yours does... but many do and many last longer than that (or 5 years). :)

I also have to agree with Z... not sure you have enough, even at 130, for an equal. Stay away from Gamemax, though. I'd look for 750W-850W model.

I've been using a mid-level Corsair CX750 for at least 10 years with no issues at all, so PSUs can last a lot longer than 5 years. And this is my daily driver system circa 2013 Xeon E5-1620/X79 setup which runs for 15 hours per day 365 days a year.

Yeah it really just depends on how you use it. If you are going to run it at 90% load for extended periods is probably not a good idea, but if you use it like a normal person ( :D ) then it should be ok..

Super Flower units are solid. I've never had any issues with any of the ones I've had. A shame your list is very limited. There's a whole bunch of power supplies on that list I would stay clear away from: Segotep, Gammax, Clio, Gamepro, Redragon, to name just a few.

Too bad, Newegg has this sweet deal
Are these equivalent to the EVGA G series? (sorry to derail)

Sorry to bother you guys, but I have a silly question. I would like to buy another pcie cable for my current super flower PSU but I was checking what cable should I buy.
The connector panel looks weird to me with the universal written there, but I count 9 pins?

All pcie cables that I see online are 8pin to 6+2
8pin won't fit there for sure, anyone knows how I search a cable for that? Thank you in advance.

You have to buy the extra cable for your specific psu. Yours appears to take a 9-pin at the pause. This isn't uncommon to prevent confusion of what goes where.

I used to be a Seasonic PSU fan and they served me well and still do. Got a couple decent eVGA units which are also solid. I recently picked up a Super Flower, and that is now my favorite. Build quality surpassed all others I've had.

I basically won't buy a PSU without a 10 year warranty and ball bearing fans if I can't help it.

I've still got a new EVGA 850w P6 which is a Seasonic build. Gotta love that 10 year warranty.

Right now I am running 2x Seasonics and an EVGA. The EVGA and Prime have 10 year warranty, I think my Vertex has a 12 year warranty.

Thank you, yes I found one at moddiy dot com, waiting for arrival in coming weeks. Couldn't found anywhere else, glad that this seller got some variety. I needed one just for testing something. I contacted one of the re sellers that are listed in super flower website for my country and they said they are getting some super flowers for march, so I'll wait a bit and buy another super flower since I had all previous psu to die over time, "cooler master, spektra, evga" since super flower is still alive I'm giving it another shot.
