yet another bx6 rev 2 question

i think i've almost asked them all.

say i get a p3 800e. will it work. i assume so. i saw people having 850e's with bx6 2's in the database.

also will i need better cooling on the greenie if fsb goes over 117. im thinking of geting a 800e and putting it at 124 if it will work.

i dont want anyone telling me to get a 700e (i know you all love that chip) because i doubt my ram or motherboard can handle 133.

Actually the BX-6 should handle the 133 without a problem. It's the rest of your cards that you should worry about.

As for the greenie....two things. Lap it and add some Artic Silver, or get a blorb and lap it and add some AS.

ahh what happens if the chip is a cdo stepping chip. will it work? i know the cco's work on my bx6 2 because i've tried my friend celly 600 cco
