Yet another question about the GA7DX+

It's about memory use.
I ordered some DDR memory for use in my ECS board and for use in trying to get this gigabyte board to work. However, I opted for the PC2700 for just a few dollars more and now I am not sure I should have.
The specs on the gigabyte board show support for PC2100. My querstion is, do you people think it would still work with the PC2700, even if it doesn't use its full potential?
This is all just assuming I can even get it to POST, which is iffy.

You'll probably post and it'll work fine, but you'll obviously only get 2100 speeds on it.

Yes it will work just as cwb27 said. I think it is often better to buy faster DDR than you can run on your mobo, if its almost the same price, because it will be backward compatible, and if you upgrade your mobo later you wont have to get more DDR. Also if you plan on doing any Overclocking your DDR wont let you down.
