I have a Asus EN9500 GT. I have overclocked it to its limit I think. But I would like to get more out of it. I test it with occt and the highest temp I have seen is 53C. So I think I have a little farther I can go. Do you know of any tricks that will give me that couple of extra fps? I overclock it with RivaTuner. And when I turn the core up the shader automatically goes up if I uncheck this option can I get any more out of it?

Thanks for any information.

Your best bet might be a CPU overclock... Other than that a 9600GT is relatively cheap these days, 40-50 bucks used. Would be a HUGE increase over your 9500GT.

Another option would be an aftermarket cooler (waste of money considering cost of 9600gt), or buy some really good thermal grease (link in my sig for one of the best on the market) and pull off your HSF on your video card, clean the GPU/MEMORY and heatsink with alcohol, and reapply a small amount of the new grease.

Also depending on how long you've had the card, some duster to blow out the dust in the fans/heatsink can make a world of difference.
