Your choice out of the following Motherboards

I just recently purchased my P4 1.6A and I would like to here from people that clock with this chip. I'm currently debating the following motherboads.

1. Soyo P4 Fire Dragon

2. Gigabyte GA-8IRXP P4 Titan

3. MSI 845 Ultra ARU

4. Asus P4B266

Please give me your feedback on which one you think is best and why.

Personaly,either the Asus or the Gigabyte.So far from what I hear.Those are the best 2 around that can O/C it.I did to my uncle's PC once,he had a Asus.Worked awesome! GL and have a good one!

Thx I have heard good and bad from the gigabyte and a whole lot of good on the asus... Just the asus board is so much ugly then the others

Asus of the four, I myself dont really like Gigabyte

My vote goes for the MSI and ASUS I have had excellent results with both brands

abit, good for stability and power. not sure if they have a board for p4's? If they do, it should be as great as my kr7a-raid. My 2cents.

Simple for me...

I have never liked Gigabyte boards. They were always cheapo boards and I'm not buying that they turned themselves around. The one thing they do right is the dual bios thing. That's a savior.

I will never buy an Asus product as long as I live. Yes, they make good stuff, but any company that supports cheating in online games can bite the big hairy one.

MSI. Another "Used to be bottom of the barrell" company that hit it big with one board. Their stuff seems to be solid, but always benches slower than everyone elses.

Soyo. Soyo has always been out there. Sometimes in the lead, sometime in the back. The Athlon based Dragon was one of the most popular OCing boards, not to mention it looked cool.

I would go with Soyo because of their history with making good solid overclocking platforms.

"Abit TH7II is the way to go if you don't mind RDRAM. Soyo Dragon P4I Fire Dragon if you want DDR."
