AMD has announced Zen 5 during their keynote address at Computex.
16% improvement in IPC.
Same core counts on desktop as before.
Laptop (Strix) now tops out at 12 cores (4 x Zen 5 cores and 8 x Zen 5c cores).
Strix has industry leading NPU performance.
Max clocks stay the same.
On desktop, TDP lowered for all but the 16 cores SKU.
Improved efficiency.
Gaming performance seems to be very strong (~10-15% over 14900k).
Full AVX-512 width now included (should be really good for HPC and distributed computing type stuff).
Release in July.
