G.Skill has just announced its new workhorse series, the Zeta R5 R-DIMM DDR5 RAM. Capable of quad and octo-channel bandwidth, these high-capacity, low-latency DIMMs are designed for powerhouse workstations and heavy computations. These kits will be available in frequencies of 5600, 6000, and 6400 MHz with capacities of up to 256GB (32GBx8). Naturally, G.Skill tested the full potential of these kits and was able to achieve 6800 MHz CL34 in an 8-channel build. Pricing has not been announced but availability is expected in March of 2023. Demonstrating the Bandwidth Potential of R-DIMM Overclocked at DDR5-6800
Dedicated to developing the fastest possible memory, G.SKILL is also demonstrating the high bandwidth potential of overclocking R-DIMM to DDR5-6800 CL34-45-45-108 in 8-channel on the ASUS Pro WS W790E-SAGE SE motherboard and an Intel® Xeon® W9-3495X processor, reaching an insane 315GB/s read, 228GB/s write, and 262GB/s copy speed in the AIDA64 memory bandwidth benchmark. While the DDR5-6800 memory is not a launch specification, this shows the potential capabilities of the new Intel W790 platform.

Availability & XMP 3.0 Support
The G.SKILL Zeta R5 series high-performance, overclocked DDR5 R-DIMM memory kits support the latest Intel XMP 3.0 memory overclocking profile support for easy memory overclocking via the motherboard BIOS, and reaching the rated XMP overclock specifications would depend on the compatibility and capability of the unlocked Intel® Xeon® W-2400X and W-3400X series processors and the respective Intel W790 chipset motherboards. These memory kits will roll out to G.SKILL worldwide distribution partners from March 2023.

Recently, GeIL announced the Polaris RGB DDR5 high-performance gaming memory. DDR5 memory starts at 4800 MHz CL40-40-40 at 1.1v and GeIL has plans for multiple kits up to 7200 MHz CL36-44-44 with and without RGB. Availability is expected for the fourth quarter of 2021 but pricing has not been disclosed yet. Here is GeIL’s press release.
Swinging by our friends at Patriot, they showed off some smoking fast RAM in the Venom, Elite, and Xtreme lineups with speeds up to DDR5-8000. You’ll find the fastest SKUs in the Xtreme lineup with capacities ranging from 16GB (2x8GB) up to 64GB (2x32GB), though we imagine the high-capacity kits will run slower speeds as well as RGB and non-RGB offerings. Pictured in the gallery are some benchmarks, including AIDA64.

This uniquely styled small form factor case features a pair of contoured tempered glass panels enclose the left, front, and right sides, and a dual-chamber design that allows for up to 280 mm of radiator space.
